Wow, okay, there’s actually quite a big difference, but let me explain first:

Studying - When you sit down and literally read/write something out/practice something/etc. over and over until you know the words/action/whatever off by heart. Here, you look at this subject in depth and detail, and ultimately know this thing/piece of information because of all the time invested in it. You don’t necessarily understand the subject, but you know things about it because of how much you looked at it.

Learning - When you acquire a new piece of information. Any new piece of information, really. You don’t have to know it off by heart; it’s just something someone may have told you once randomly. Here, you understand the information/the subject you’re dealing with, and it makes sense to you.

So, you can learn something about a subject by studying it, but you can’t necessarily say that you’ve studied something just because you’ve learnt it/about it. 

Usually, learning is used in a very similar context to studying, so I understand your confusion, and I don’t know if I explained this clearly enough, but I really don’t know if I could explain it any better.
